Police arrest man who sneaked inside Rockwall school

WFAA-TV Video News. HEATH – Police have arrested a man who is accused of attempted kidnapping, after he allegedly slipped into a side door at Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary, on Thursday.
Desi Smalley, 36, was caught in Arkansas this morning.
He’ll soon be on his way back to North Texas.

Rockwall ISD opens school year with new aquatic center, new school, renovated stadium

The Rockwall school district has a new aquatic center, a $17 million jewel that lured former Highland Park swim coach Mike Sorrells out of retirement.
Among other features, the center has a 50-meter competitive pool and a smaller one for swim lessons, athletic rehabilitation and therapy.
