Rockwall County Herald-Banner. Plano intern architect Dan Fletcher’s entry — Symbolic Journey — was a design jury’s top choice in the Rockwall County Veterans Memorial design contest.

Rockwall County ranked second in nation for job growth in 2008

Royse City Herald Banner. Rockwall County ranked second nationally in a CNNMoney.com list of the nation’s Top 25 counties for job growth between 2000 and 2008.
Rockwall County earned the ranking with an 84.9 percent increase in job growth over the eight-year period, according to CNNMoney.com.

Rockwall County’s population increased by another 1,950 people and 2.5 percent in 2008, according to a new report by the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
