Vote for Amber in final 16 on The Voice tonight; watch party at Allure

ROCKWALL – Rockwall 19-year-old country/pop singing sensation Amber Carrington will sing live for the first time tonight on NBC-TV’s The Voice singing competition as the final 16 artists compete for viewers votes during the Live Playoffs, telecast tonight through Wednesday, beginning at 7 pm on NBC5 TV.

Amber’s family and friends are urging fans across Rockwall County and the world to vote for Amber by calling or texting The Voice after her performance. The public’s votes will determine which singers will continue on in the competition and which will not.

Amber is one of only three singers remaining on Team Adam, headed by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons are the other two.

Her many family members and friends invite area residents to join them for a watch party at Allure Restaurant at Chandler’s Landing, beginning at 6:30 pm.

Amber did a great job on the show tonight, and I would be very surprised to see her journey end at this point. I work at DISH with buddies who watch The Voice, too, so I can’t wait to see what they thought of tonight’s episode—and Amber’s performance. I wasn’t even home when it started, so I watched the first 20 minutes on my phone with the DISH Anywhere app. The app lets me watch any and all of my live and recorded TV from my phone or tablet, so there’s no longer a boring bus ride home.
