Female Rockwall jail inmate hangs herself
ROCKWALL – A female inmate at the Rockwall County jail hung herself Wednesday morning.
According to sources who asked their names not be used, the female had been on suicide watch under a doctor’s referral but seemed to be getting better and had recently been taken off suicide watch. They said she hung herself with some sort of telephone cord.
Calls to the Jail Commander, Captain Bob Guzik, have not yet been returned, but a male who answered the phone at the jail Wednesday afternoon said information was not yet being given out to the media about the incident.
