(NBC5-TV News) For the first time, Ashley Green told NBC DFW the details of what happened to her on the night of June 12, 2011.
“I asked him, ‘Why are you doing this to me?’” Green said. “I was crying, and he just said, ‘Shut up (expletive), shut up.’ And he punched me in the face and that knocked me out again.”
That night, Green was out watching the Mavericks win the NBA Championship at a bar on Henderson Avenue in Dallas. She was walking to her car just two blocks away when she was viciously attacked.
