Cowgirl Congress Rodeo Drill Team to debut at Rockwall July 4th Parade
ROCKWALL – A newly formed equestrian drill team, founded in January by a trio of champion rodeo drill team riders, will make their debut appearance at the Rockwall 4th of July Parade, July 4th at 11 am, near the Courthouse Square in Old Town Rockwall.
The fast-growing Cowgirl Congress Rodeo Drill Team (CCRDT) currently has ten members ranging in age from 15 to 50, including founders Cari Railsback, Lindsey Bunch and Mandy Myers.

The majority of the ladies come with years of drill team experience and the newest members bring raw talent and a passion to learn the sport, according to Railsback.
Based at Tate Farms in Rockwall, she said the team strives to honor their western heritage with patriotism and pageantry.
“Our goal for 2012 is to provide a thrilling rodeo performance and professionalism that rodeo producers can count on.”
Railsback said CCRDT has hosted drill team clinics, will compete in national and state level competitions, and is scheduled for its first rodeo performance at Copper Rodeo on July 6th and 7th in Cooper, Texas.
“I always dreamed of riding in a rodeo, it’s definitely on my bucket list,” said member Alex Hulcy.
