City of Heath honors Heath baseball team for winning State Championship

HEATH – Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty and the Heath City Council honored the Rockwall-Heath High School baseball team for winning the Class 4-A State Championship last week by by proclaiming June 19 as Heath Hawks Baseball Team Day in Heath.

They also announced that the team would lead the annual Heath Independence Day Parade July 4, and the parade route will be temporarily changed to end at the Hawk’s baseball stadium, where a special program will be presented.
