All tickets cost $8 and they can be purchased online at:

According to a Playhouse news release, credit cards are only accepted online or over the phone but no longer at the door. If tickets are sold out online, patrons should come to the theater a half an hour before curtain-time to be placed on a waiting list if additional seats are available.

The Playhouse is supported in part by grants from the City of Rockwall and Rockwall Womens League.

The play is based on a children’s novel by American author E. B. White, about a pig named Wilbur, who is saved from being slaughtered by an intelligent barn spider named Charlotte.

RCP brings it to the stage musically telling the story of the friendship between Wilbur and Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages in her web praising Wilbur in order to persuade the farmer to let him live.

Charlotte’s Web is considered a classic of children’s literature, enjoyable to adults, as well as children, according to the Playhouse.
