Heath Hawks score first, lead 2-0 in top of second inning

ROUND ROCK – The Heath Hawks scored first and have taken a 2-0 lead in the top of 2nd inning in their Class 4-A Semifinal baseball game against Montgomery.

Timbo Duncan singled to start  the inning & scored on bases-loaded error. Grayson Lewis singled and scored on a Jovan Hernandez sacrifice hit.

The Hawks have left four runners on base in two innings of play.

Montgomery had two hits off Jake Thompson in the bottom of the first but, after two strikeouts and a ground out, the Hawks escaped the inning.
