Hawks score 3 more in top of 3rd inning, lead 5-2

ROUND ROCK – Heath just scored three more runs in the top of the third inning to take a 5-2 lead over Montgomery.

Bret Boswell walked and scored on a single by Grayson Lewis. Then Russell Hughes smashed a two-run double off the left-field wall. Jake Bledsoe, who had singled, and Lewis sc0red at virtually the same time, after a sliding Bledsoe knocked the ball out of the Montgomery catcher’s hand.

The Hawks have no stranded two runners in each inning.
