MT. PLEASANT – Incumbent Thomas Ratliff narrowly beat Randy Stevenson in yesterday’s Republican Primary Election race for Member, State Board of Education, District 9, which includes Rockwall Co.
Ratliff received 71,438 votes (52%) and Stevenson earned 65,685 votes (48%).
Ratliff carried Rockwall County, 53% to 47%.
