Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats to perform in Terrell Sept. 20

TERRELL – International acrobatic superstars, the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats, will bring their dazzling and daring program of formidable feats to the Terrell ISD Performing Arts Center, Sept. 20, at 7:30 pm.

For 25 years the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats (“SLCA”) have entertained audiences on every continent with their multi-faceted and multi-cultural programs.

The SLCA has appeared on numerous TV shows in the United States, performed for President Jimmy Carter and won numerous awards for their contribution to community and campus entertainment.

Their typical program includes feats of balance, juggling, agility, strength and concentration which, according to the show producers, is seen by these Chinese athletes as a pursuit of perfection – the harmony of mind and body.

The E! Terrell Entertainment Series has been presenting internationally acclaimed artists to the community since 2003.

According to Publicity Manager Steve Emahiser, this all-volunteer nonprofit organization is committed to enriching the cultural life of Terrell through live performances.

“Thanks to the generosity of Patrons and Sponsors, these concerts can be offered at affordable, family friendly prices,” he said.
