11-6 loss to Frisco Wakeland ends season for Rockwall

WYLIE – Top-ranked Frisco Wakeland (31-4) exploded for 11 runs to defeat Rockwall, 11-6, Friday night, sweeping their best of three game bi-district playoff series for the second year in a row over the Yellowjackets.

Rockwall lost 4-3 Thursday night on a squeeze bunt with the bases loaded.

Rockwall rallied late in the season to gain fourth place and a playoff berth from District 10-4A, and finished the year 20-13-1 overall.
