Grand opening of new Garden Center Superstore this Saturday in Rockwall

The grand opening of a new “Superstore of Garden Centers” is scheduled all day this Saturday at Lasting Impressions Garden Center, located on Highway 66, between Rockwall and Fate.

According to owner Harold Jones and General Manager Helen Courrege, Lasting Impressions provides more landscaping and garden products and services in one place for lower prices than anyplace else they have found in the nation.

It’s located at 812 Holiday Ln. (Highway 66), just east of Highway 549 in Fate.

There will be grand opening special prices on numerous products from 9 am to 5 pm. Tropical John will discuss “How to Successfully Use Organics in Your Yard” from 1-2 pm.

“Lasting Impressions is a superstore of garden centers,” said Jones, who scours the country daily for the best products and prices. “We sell stone, mulch, flowers, trees, shrubs, edgings, river rocks, chemicals, fertilizers, organic and non-organic treatments and more.”

“We truck in products from all over the nation, including stone from 152 quarries and plants from Florida to California.”

He added that they also grow many plants on location to keep costs down.

Courrege, who previously owned a garden center and has been in the retail business for 35 years, said Lasting Impressions also offers turn-key design and landscaping services.

“We also have an extremely knowledgeable staff of 12. You can just show us a photo or drawing of your yard and we can take it from there.”

Jones said Lasting Impressions provides products and services for local landscape professionals, as well, quickly and economically.

“In construction, time is money. We understand that and promise to provide the best service and prices in the area for contractors.”

He added that they plan to give back to the community, as well.

“I want to do so well that we can have and organization that stands on its own two feet to help people – especially children.
