During the interview, owner Bill Hair told CBS News reporter and Rockwall resident Don Teague that he has hired three new employees during the last two weeks and plans to hire three more employees during 2011 because he feels “very strongly about the economy now, that things are improving.”

In the story, Teague reported that although nine million people are still unemployed nationwide, and many are struggling to find a job, others believe the economy is turning around – including Hair.

According to Bill’s wife and co-owner Sheila Hair, the news interview was arranged through Margie Hooper, executive director of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce.

“Don Teague lives in Rockwall and knows Margie personally,” she said. “They were doing a story on small businesses in Texas hiring and Margie recommended ‘My Computer Guy’ for the story.”
