Fired FBI agent gets probation for hiring illegal immigrants at her Rockwall restaurant

(DallasNews.com) A former Dallas FBI agent was placed on two years’ probation today and fined $18,000 for employing illegal immigrants in a Schlotzky’s she once owned in Rockwall.

Ann Cox, 49, of Rockwall, pleaded guilty in September to a misdemeanor related to her employment of undocumented workers at the sandwich shop. According to court records, Cox employed illegal immigrants from 1997 through 2008, when she sold the shop.

The records identify six individuals illegally hired by Cox.
