Plano East Senior High student arrested in bomb threat case

(Dallas Morning News) – Police have arrested a Plano East Senior High School student suspected of scrawling a bomb threat in a school restroom last week.

Chase Clemmons, 17, of Richardson faces a terroristic threats charge, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a $4,000 fine. The district attorney’s office may enhance the charge to a felony, Plano police spokesman Rick McDonald said.

Clemmons was arrested Monday and taken to Plano’s city jail. He was released on $2,500 bail.
