Wylie father indicted in August death of 2-year-old in hot car

WFAA-TV News. A Collin County grand jury indicted a Wylie man whose 2-year-old daughter died in August after being left for several hours in a hot car.

Jason Dean Adams, 33, faces one count of abandoning or endangering a child. The indictment was handed up Thursday.

Wylie police say Adams got home about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and parked in the driveway. Three of his children and their cousin, ages 6 to 9, got out of the sport utility vehicle.
