Tornadoes touch down in North Texas

WFAA-TV News. The remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine first brought heavy rain and flooding to North Texas on Wednesday. Then… as the sun began peeking through… funnel clouds began to form, spawning a series of tornadoes in Ellis and Dallas counties. One of the tornadoes was in clear view of downtown Dallas as it was seen moving from West Dallas, across the Trinity River and toward Love Field.
