Ranked No. 1 nationally by USA Today, the Hawks (37-0) beat its District 10-4A rivals for the third time this season before an overflow crowd at Carrollton’s Kelly Field, advancing to the regional semifinals for the second straight year.

Rockwall-Heath lost in last year’s regional semifinal to eventual 4A state champion Texarkana Texas.

The Hawks next opponent will not be known until this weekend’s playoff action is completed.
