Community rallies to ID dead boy

By Kevin Boie, MYFOXDFW.COM. WYLIE – A reward, vigils and a Facebook page — people in Wylie are going to great lengths to identify a dead disabled boy found dumped in a rural park.

The child, who is approximately 6 years old, was discovered in East Fork Park near Lake Lavon on April 15 and has come to be known as “Wylie’s Angel.”

Officials said the boy had suffered severe medical problems during his short life, had relied on a feeding tube and was very small for his age. In fact, because of his size, investigators initially thought the boy was a toddler.
