Rockwall Council gets an earful about The Shores
The Dallas Morning News. A standing-room crowd of about 200 turned out for the Rockwall City Council’s special forum on The Shores Country Club at The Center last night and loudly applauded the 22 speakers who cited a list of problems at the golf course.
One speaker said it could be worse and drew laughter from the crowd. Members of Oakridge Country Club in Garland — where GP&L turned out the lights briefly for the second time yesterday – also had their say, all critical of IRI Golf Group, the California-based company that owns and operates both clubs.
