Rockwall’s Belfiore Salon, Spa co-owner dies suddenly from stroke

By J.J. Smith. The co-owner of Rockwall’s Belfiore Salon and Day Spa unexpectedly passed away from a stroke, Oct. 20, 2009.

Together with his wife, Sheryl, and their daughter, Adrienne Mull, they opened the popular rest, relaxation and beauty business in 2006, located at 2995 Horizon Road, next to Sonic and Lowe’s.

The family’s vision was to create a salon and spa that would rival and exceed the expectations afforded to any of the best luxury salon and spa establishments in the Dallas area, according to their website.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Mr. Hastings is also survived by his son, Nicolas Hastings, who is stationed in Bahrain with the U.S. Navy.

His funeral was held at Rockwall’s Rest Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Oct. 24.
