Sophomore Preston Miller ran for a game high 164 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Highland Park Fighting Scots to a 30-7 victory over Red Oak at SMU’s Ford Stadium Saturday night.
Senior quarterback Luke Woodley was suspended from the game after recently receiving a DWI. Backup signal-callers Jake Howeth and Brady Burgin completed 22 of 31 passes for 231 yards but 3 interceptions, in his place.
Terrell 42, Carrollton R.L. Turner 0.
The Turner Lions were held to 42 yards rushing and 34 yards passing as they were blasted 42-0 by the Terrell Tigers Saturday at Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium . The Lions also lost three fumbles and were penalized 8 times for 57 yards.
