In case you haven’t seen the huge new freeway sign yet, there’s a new steakhouse coming soon to Rockwall.

Beginning August 3, residents of Rockwall will have a new place to enjoy grilled steaks, ice-cold longnecks and “a kickin’, upbeat atmosphere with friends and family,” according to a news release from the new Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant.

The restaurant will also be hiring about 130 local employees, said Molly Williamson, a spokesman for the Nashville-based chain.

Hourly employees – including wait staff, dishwashers and greeters - can apply soon at the restaurant, she said. For career employment opportunities, click here.

Located on restaurant row between Saltgrass Steakhouse and Taco Cabana at 560 E. I-30, construction is nearly complete.

The 6,336-square-foot restaurant in Rockwall will seat 237 guests and is reminiscent of American roadhouses of the past, complete with neon signs and an interactive jukebox.

She explained that Logan’s, “The Real American Roadhouse,” is a restaurant that revisits the classic roadhouse from days past and brings it to life in a relevant, modern way.

“The high-quality, moderately-priced menu features over 30 entrees, including aged steaks hand-cut fresh on the premises, grilled chicken, fresh ground steakburgers, baby-back ribs, seafood, and specialty salads made from only the freshest ingredients,” she said.

“Our team searches the country for the best restaurant sites, and we’re excited about opening our fifth location in the Dallas/Fort Worth area,” said Tom Vogel, president and chief executive officer of Logan’s Roadhouse.

“We see a lot of opportunity in this neighborhood.  We plan to be a valuable part of the community by bringing to Rockwall a place where guests will feel comfortable and enjoy high quality steaks in a kickin’, upbeat atmosphere, all at a great price.”

“Don’t dress up,” he said. “Just show up at Logan’s– a place where guests can come as they are, be themselves and make lifelong friends.”

“It is known for its great grilled steaks, ice-cold longnecks, mouthwatering, made-from-scratch yeast rolls, and bottomless buckets of in-shell peanuts. Guests are encouraged to loosen up and toss their peanut shells on the floor.”

Headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., Logan’s Roadhouse, Inc. presently runs more than 170 company-operated and 25 franchised Logan’s Roadhouse restaurants in 23 states.

While yes Logans has good food the management is very rude and disrespectful! I was not pleased with them especially with Gary the General Mangaer
