  1. John White says:

Green is a code word for “centralized planning”. We have a history on the effects of a “green” society: Spain. The touchy-feely world of “Green” sounds good and many elements of LEEDS and Energy Star yield benefits. I suggest clarity of purpose with respect to energy efficiency and water conservation. What energy-conservation measures has the City of Rockwall put in place for City properties? There exist in our local marketplace energy-conservation businesses and water-conservation systems providers whose knowledge and experience dramatically overshadow the collective bureaucracy of our fair city.
